quality and style
This is a beautiful ring. Nice, solid weight to it and very elegant styling. I am extremely impressed with the quality - far better than what I was expecting - and the stones have a very sophisticated look and sparkle. The black stones add a nice twist to a classic style and give it enough glitz to wear for special occasions. I feel confident now buying any other Charles Winston pieces and would recommend this ring in particular to anyone.

I go this as a gift for my mom and she loved it. My only complaint is it was not very yellow- the center stone is almost opaque.

The ring is beautiful. I love it. The color of the stone is quite a bit lighter than the picture shows but it is still very nice.

Great ring for the price
I was hesitant to purchase an engagement ring online, but now that I have, I'm glad I went this route. The ring arrived a day before expected in very protective packaging. It came in a polished wood box with a leather interior, which was very attractive (and my fiancee still uses it to hold the ring when she has to take it off). There is no certification or appraisal certificate, which I was upset about, but the diamond itself is well cut (it reflects light wonderfully), and whoever cut the stone definitely didn't sacrifice quality in favor of size. The color is a little more "yellow" than I expected, but against the white and on a finger, it's not noticeable. The gold is good, and there are no problems with tarnishing or lost finish.

A comprable ring, in a jewelery store, was around 00. Buying it online, I saved almost 0, and was able to put the savings toward our wedding.

Expensive but worth it.
I bought this ring for my wife for our anniversary. I won't tell you what number but it's a BIG one. She is the favorite thing in my life. Although for a lab created ruby ring in silver seems overpriced, I have been looking for such a ring for three years with no success so I was very pleased when this one popped up on Amazon. Natural (found in the ground) rubies are extreemly expensive and yet usually quite cloudy. Even if the price was the same I prefer a lab created (synthetic) ruby because it is chemically identical to a natural stone and yet can be crystal clear and flawless. I wanted a round brillent cut stone for its exceptional sparkle but my searches yealded none of these except the flimsley little rings ment for pre-teens; you can find them in WalMart. Due to the ballooning price of gold I was looking for silver (White gold and silver look the same to me anyway.)but plated with gold in order to prevent the silver from tarnishing. Removing silver oxidation is one of those things that my wife does not like to do. You will notice that this ring has met all of my requirements and my wife loves it. She also appreciates the fact that the smooth sides of the ring fit perfectly when placed on her finger beside a wedding band. The metal is nice and thick. The color is bright red, not maroon; especially noticable as it sparkles in the sunlight. On my computer screen it actually looks like the picture. It also comes in a very pretty box, in the event you care about such things. In conclusion, I am glad I found this ring and bought it.

Looks and fits GREAT!
Got this ring set so I could avoid unwanted attention when away from my boyfriend :) it looks very real and hasn't even tarnished or anything! Couldn't have asked for better without buying the real thing!

Nice price for a ring
Shipping was very fast. Ring looks amazing except the center stone is loose in the setting and the prongs look a little wimpy. I still like this ring even though I know it's not the real thing. It makes me feel glamorous, and it shines almost as nicely as my real one. I bought this one for when my real set is getting fixed.

I love this ring and i work at walmart so you can imagine the kind of compliments i get on it.tho in the pic it shows that it sets inside of each other i think i will have to take it to a jewelry welder to do that but im not sure how to do it to look like the pic but im sure he will but when i get compliments and tell them how much it is no one belives the it is 16.99 instead of 1699 thanks gem avenue i will def. brag about you my mother in-law wants one now and she is gonna get one like it too.
